GovGram
GovGram is a multi-communication notification system designed so that residents
can receive quick and efficient communications with an easy-to-use system for public
agencies. Beyond your typical "Reverse 911” system, GovGram utilizes state of the art
technology coupled with a MS SQL backbone to deliver both emergency notifications
and community announcements.
A dedicated server at our tier one hosting facility securely hosts all personal information.
Having these servers based in a different time zone and located on a separate power grid adds
an additional level of security. Our clients can confidently initiate emergency notifications
during a crisis due to this level of security and multiple backup redundancies.

Three Methods of Communication
Types of Communication
-
 |
>Emergency Notifications
In the event of an emergency, GovGram's localization feature can be utilized to specifically
deliver, or narrowcast, important info to the areas likely to be affected
by that emergency. Wide area broadcast is also easy accomplished allowing you to
quickly dispatch messages to all residents.
|
- Does not require residents to register in order to receive messages
- Emergency Notification Database (ENDb) provided through partnership with Verizon Communications Inc.
- Verizon database consists of:
- Residential land-lines for every land-line carrier
- Business land-lines for every land-line carrier
- Listed and unlisted telephone numbers for every land-line carrier
- Weekly database updates keep all resident contact information current and correct
- Reverse Geo-Coding (new feature):
- First responders can now utilize a simple graphical interface to draw a polygon
over a web-based map to select specific areas for targeted communication
 |
>Community Announcements
Unlike Emmergency Notifications, Community Announcements operate on an opt-in basis. Residents can register
online to receive updates from their local government officials ensuring that only those who designated the option
will be contacted.
|
- Residents register and opt-in via a web-based portal
- Residents can manage communication preferences via their own secure, "My GovGram" homepage.
- Configurable announcement preferences include:
- Opting-in to receive community announcements
- Changing personal contact information
- Selecting the method of communication: Text, Voice, Email or any combination.
